Player Registration Guidelines
There is no cost to registering with the ABA but players will need to renew their registration once a year.
Benefits to players registering with the ABA include:
- If the player chooses, and they average at least two points per game, their game statistics will be posted on the website.
- They will receive e-mail notification of upcoming tournaments.
- They will be eligible to participate in the annual Championship tournament and All-Star game.

Ministry Registration Guidelines
Before the ABA will promote a tournament, the ministry sponsoring the tournament will need to register with the ABA. The ministry must be apostolic in nature, but not necessarily UPC.
Ministries that register with the ABA agree to do the following:
- Track the following player statistics using an official score book: points and free-throws attempted / made.
- Send the ABA your score book after each tournament so the ABA can post player stats on the website (the score books will be returned).
- Inform players attending the tournament about the ABA and encourage them to register with the ABA.
- Use at least one official referee for each game in the tournament.
- Provide the ABA with a team photo and player roster of the teams that place in the top four positions. Photos with players in shorts or jerseys without a T-shirt can not be posted on the website.
The ABA encourages ministries to do the following:
- Take pictures of tournament activity and of each team for posting on the ABA website. Photos with players in shorts or jerseys without a T-shirt can not be posted on the website.
- Name a Most Valuable Player from each tournament and take their picture for posting on the website.
Benefits to registering your ministry with the ABA:
- Your tournaments will be promoted on the ABA website.
- The ABA will notify registered players of your upcoming tournaments.
- Completed tournament brackets will be posted on the ABA website.
- Your tournament teams will have the chance to participate in the annual championship tournament (see Championship / All-Star Game).
